This brewery was established in 1885 after that Christian F. Bötzow acquired the windmills on the Windmühlenberg and it was the biggest private one in Berlin, with a huge cellars system and a pub and a garden.
After the war was not used anymore, the building was used among other things as a warehouse for liquor, tobacco products and fish.
With the fall of the wall, a wholesale market moves in and sells West products. Then it was used as a club in the cellars.
At the moment the place is under renovation and it is hosting special events from time to time.
