Interview for "Berlin is not Germany" blog

Q. We are curious and into investigation. How did you get the idea of an “Elephant in Berlin” and decided to name your blog after that?
A. In the Buddhist culture, the elephant is a marvellous animal and it’s my guide animal since more than 15 years. To the elephant are given many skills like endurance, patience, strength and introspection. We move in the city that has a patient sufferance for its history, with the endurance to rebuild, with the strength of the present, the introspection of the curiosity and sometimes the loneliness of the abandoned places. The blog is then a collection of place, historical buildings, parks and different realities which I’m exploring together with the kind collaboration of some friends sharing with me the passion for this city.
