Lenin was the most important of all the communist leaders and although he was maybe the less controversial of all of them, at the end of the communist era, he was the only big symbol left to be destroyed (the Destalinization was already long time finished in all the Warsaw Pact and the others have never been as important as him).
In Berlin the biggest statue was in Platz der vereinten nationen, but then it was removed after die Wende, so it's not so simple to find Lenin statues or painting in Berlin (2 are just in different museums), but sometimes, walking in Brandenburg, we've been able to discover some of them, mostly in places that were used by the GSSD, the Red Army in East Germany.
This is a small collection and everytime we've found one, it has always been a big surprise and a great excitement, not for the men, but for the History passing close to us.
